The Midwest Museum of American Art is pleased to announce the 43rd Elkhart Juried Regional. This exhibition is a major survey of current trends by artists from twenty northern Indiana counties and four southern Michigan counties. This year 197 artists submitted 341 works in all media for the judges’ consideration. The exhibition features 153 works of art by 115 artists.
Awards presented to artists totaled over $20,000 making the Elkhart Juried Regional the largest cash awards show in Michiana. The judges who selected the 43rd Elkhart Juried Regional exhibition were Thomas Roese, Artist, Cleveland, Ohio, and Laura Conners, Textile Artist, Crawfordsville, Indiana.
This exhibit marks forty-three years of providing artists in northern Indiana and southern Michigan an opportunity to show their work in a museum setting and compete for cash awards. This exhibition provides an exciting survey of the most current art being produced throughout the Michiana region.
