Gabor Peterdi: The Era of War
Gabor Peterdi is one of two important taproots of American Printmaking. This exhibit, drawn from the MMAA permanent collection, showcases Peterdi’s works are benchmarks of history and expressive and sometimes Surreal images that evoke the onslaught of fear and the gathering storm clouds of war in Europe during the 1930s.

Politics & Religion: Artists Speak Out!
Since the days of Paul Revere in America or Honoré Daumier in France, artists have sought to bring forth images that might rouse the masses into thought provoking states of mindfulness or even protest. Seeing these current images in historical context as in this exhibit, provides a safe and neutral space within the museum allowing time for genuine reflection for the visitor.
