ELKHART — The 45th “Elkhart Juried Regional” continues through Dec. 22 at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main St.
The Elkhart Juried Regional is a major survey of current trends by artists from 20 northern Indiana counties and four southern Michigan counties.
This year, 217 artists submitted 380 works in all media for the juror’s consideration. The exhibition features 164 works of art by 147 artists.
Awards presented this year totaled over $20,000 making the Elkhart Juried Regional the largest cash awards show in Michiana.
Mark Ruschman, senior curator of art and culture emeritus at the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites in Indianapolis, served as the juror.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission is $10-$6.
