ELKHART — The exhibit “Enchanted Lands: The Collage Works of Scott Hatt” continues through March 5 at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main St.
Hatt, who died in October 2021 at age 64, operated The Spurious Fugitive art gallery in downtown South Bend from 2005 to 2008 and was known for his prolific work in collage art that led him to collaborate with artists across the globe.
He also taught fine arts and graphic design at Indiana University South Bend from 1998 to 2003.
The exhibit includes more than 50 pieces by Hatt.
Retired IUSB music professor David Barton will give a talk about Hatt’s life and art at 12:20 p.m. Jan. 26 at the museum. Admission is half-off for gallery talks.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission is $10-$6.
