The Midwest Museum of American Art is pleased to present a special spotlight exhibit of 22 images carved and printed in color by Elkhart-based artist, Susan B. (Susie) Lehman.
In 2013, the artist offered the museum examples of 22 images of the 52 she created beginning in 1968 through 1986 when she switched her art practice to cut-paper collage imagery. Some of the images that MMAA owns won Susie Lehman awards and recognition and were collected actively. Susie Lehman is not stranger to the larger Michiana art community and four of her cut-paper collages can be seen regularly in the Lerner Public Art Collection.
