The Midwest Museum of American Art presents another in a series of its spotlight exhibits, “The American West: Vision & Revision,” now on display through September 2018.
As an adjunct experience to the museum’s Story of American Art survey of 200 years, this exhibit complements the works currently shown in the Vault Gallery that cover the same theme. This addendum displayed in one of the second-floor galleries features 33 objects created by contemporary artists of the Southwest.
The Midwest Museum of American Art is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is $10 per adult; $8 per 5 years through college student; $15 per family (three or more immediate family members to include parents and children). Sunday is free Family Day through March 31. Half off admission for Sunday hours will be instituted beginning in April 2018.
